https://www.zaobao.com.sg/lifestyle/health/story20260630-9257011 治疗方法进步提高生存率他肺癌第四期已走过14年随着疗法进步，晚期肺癌已不再等同终末期疾病。许多患者可通过靶向治疗、化疗、放疗等控制病情、减轻副作用，并维持生活质量。医生希望更多患者分享经历，打破大众对肺癌的恐惧与误解。（李冠卫摄）对晚期肺癌患者来说，确诊不是人生终点，而是学习与疾病共处、重新安排生活的开始。 2012年，陈江元（64岁，医疗从业者）因持续咳嗽数月求医，最终确诊第四期肺癌，癌细胞已转移至脑部。医生曾告知他，生存期可能只剩12至18个月。面对噩耗，他最先想到的不是自己，而是仍在求学的孩子，以及全职照顾家庭的妻子。突如其来的诊断，打乱了他原本对未来的所有安排，也迫使他重新学习如何面对不确定的明天。治疗期间规律活动陈江元在伊丽莎白医院接受治疗。针对脑部转移病灶，他先完成伽玛刀放射手术（gamma knife radiosurgery），随后接受多轮化疗，后来再以新型靶向药物控制肺癌。化疗期间，他出现呕吐、疲累和食欲不振等副作用，但仍坚持每天傍晚与妻子到海边散步，也会在身体许可时骑固定脚踏车。他说：“只要身体允许，我就动一动、走一走。规律活动有助维持体力，也稳定心情。” 饮食上，他戒掉肉类、奶制品和精制糖类食品，改以原型食物为主。陈江元指出：“化疗很辛苦，但身体要有本钱撑下去。吃得下、维持体重，对继续治疗很重要。”即使治疗漫长、病情反复，他仍尽量保持日常节奏，让自己在病中维持生活感。减轻症状与副作用陈丹敏医生指出，随着疗法进步，“生存”也意味着控制癌症、减轻症状和副作用。（受访者提供）百汇癌症中心肿瘤内科高级顾问医生陈丹敏指出，过去人们理解的“生存”（survival）多指患者确诊后还能活多久，但随着治疗方法进步，其意义已不再局限于寿命长短。她说：“许多癌症患者如今可在有效治疗下与癌共存，副作用也相对可控，仍能维持合理的生活质量。对晚期肺癌患者而言，生存更意味着有效控制癌症，同时把癌症相关症状和治疗副作用降到最低。” 陈丹敏医生也提到，过去第四期肺癌常被视为只剩数月的诊断，但如今情况已大为改善。一般来说，接受适当治疗的第四期肺癌患者，平均可存活两至四年，部分患者甚至更久，具体视患者的整体体能、年龄，...
