Compassvale resident feels unsafe and helpless over neighbour's clutter: 'It's been 3 years'
The unit was Stomped in August 2023 for cluttering common spaces at Block 287A Compassvale Crescent.
A resident said at that time that there had been no improvement to the situation until he reported it to Stomp and the clutter was cleared.
Hope it doesn't make a comeback.

But not for long, it seems.
Another resident, Stomper Tan, now says that "things are still the same after a year."
Tan told Stomp: "This started about three years ago. Sengkang Town Council (SKTC) shifted the items once, sometime a year ago.
"The issue was reported again on Sept 16 but the case was closed, stating that the items did not block the riser. A week later, feedback was sent to the town council via the SKTC website."
Tan alleged that this was the town council's reply:
"This unit has been that way for about three years now. Previously, the whole corridor was filled with the resident's items and we have removed it. Currently, as long as the resident does not block any of the risers and also meet the Singapore Civil Defence Force's required guidelines of 1.2m for corridor clearance, there's no further actions to take. However, rest assured we are doing monthly inspections for the unit to make sure they adhere to the guidelines. If they don't, we have informed them previously we will immediately remove the items."
Tan said: "Based on these photos taken in October 2024, did the neighbour meet SCDF's guidelines of 1.2m corridor clearance?
"It is obvious that town council did not send people to check as there are still items blocking the riser and the distance is definitely less than 1.2m.
"This is a major risk for residents. There are a few young children and toddlers on the same level.
"We feel unsafe as these are potential fire hazards. It is also environmentally unfriendly and attracting pests. Safety is being compromised. We are feeling helpless and can't rely on the town council anymore."
Stomp has contacted SKTC for more info.
